MUSCULOSKELETAL TECHNIQUES: Meridian Module II - Structural Meridian Rehabilitation (The Incredible Core, Neck & Cranium Part 2 ~ May Be Taken Separately 24 CE's)
Specific Course Objective: Students will come away from this module with knowledge regarding anatomical locations of the muscles, joints, ligature & bones with the ability to palpate and perform specific release techniques on the cranium as well as understanding of the physiological processes of the cranial sacral system, core release with neck. Students will also understand the beginning theories which form the basis of structural function within the body. This class focuses on musculoskeletal techniques that can be life changing for clients.
Part 1 – Extremities - Pelvis (24 hours)
Part 2 - Neck & Core (24 hours Includes Cranium)
Part 3 – Pelvis (24 hours)
This course teaches gentle body mobilization for the neck, core & cranium. These systems all work together and with muskuloskeletal techniques one should never compartmentalize with only cranio-sacral techniques. Both muskuloskeletal and cranio-sacral techniques will be taught from a meridian and structural perspective.Students will learn from an energetic, physio-mechanical and meridian point perspective. Sometimes this form is the missing link in working with clients that just don’t seem to get better. This course teaches gentle body mobilization that provides deep releases on many of the bodies systems through the CNS A strong emphasis on self-care is practiced while learning specific relaxation regimens. Anatomy and energetic sensitivity to the ligaments, tendons, joints, bones, meridian channels, and sinew structures will be taught in an interactive way during the hands-on technique aspect of the class. Advanced techniques will also be shown in order to facilitate deeper releases in clients. A strong emphasis on self-care is also taught as well as pillowing techniques for practitioners & clients alike. Pre-requisites: None
