ATIT's Acupressure/Reflexology certification teaches students hand, foot, ear, spine, light & scalp reflexology, potent points in the Acupressure system and how to effectively work with the body through the various assessment points.  Therapists coming out of this certification program will have an in-depth understanding of how to work with these systems independently as well as how to combine systems in order to facilitate a deeper release within clients.  Traditional techniques are taught along with new and innovative ways to release the reflex points through pandiculation.  ATIT is the only school teaching Pandiculation of Reflex Points along with Auricular Light Therapy and Scalp Reflexology.

FULL CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

​Basic Reflexology Bodywork Hand/Foot Release w/Beginning Potent Points (24 hours - $360.00)

In this module students will learn beginning release techniques in working with the potent points of the acupressure system and how to effectively work with the bodies own energetic signatures.  Specific protocols to promote well being in clients will be learned to help facilitate asthmas, chronic fatigue syndrome, depression, emotional balancing, stress reduction, relaxation and many more.  Self-care is strongly emphasized.  Pre-requisite:  None​
​Reflexology Potent Points - Advanced Hand/Foot Training (24 hours - $360.00)
​
This is an extremely exciting class that shows how to release potent points from a more advanced perspective.  Students will learn multiple ways of releasing the alarm points that can access the bodies organ system to promote deep balancing.  Specific protocols learned will be lower back pain, sciatica, cramps, spasms, immune system boosting, allergies and much more.  Come away from this class knowing how to work with advanced types of dysfunctions that clients face on a daily basis.  Self-care is strongly emphasized.  Pre-requisite:  None
​Foot Reflexology (24 hours - $360.00) Specializing in PTSD 

This class goes from intuition to assessment of the clients particular needs and helps students develop a strategy for better helping their clients through reflexology.  You've never seen reflexology taught in this manner before with many advanced and unknown techniques that are only available at ATIT.    Color and vibrational therapy along with a specific reflexology protocol to work with PTSD will be taught.  Learn how disease manifests in the body even if there is an emotional catalyst and how to effectively work with the endocrine system to bring your clients back to a place of peace from worry, stress and dysfunction.  Self-care is strongly emphasized.   Pre-requisite:  None
Hand & Ear Reflexology (Includes Scalp - 24 hours - $360.00)
Part 1 - Ear Reflexology (Includes Scalp) 
Part 2 - Hand Reflexology

Each part may be taken separately in stages.

Hand, Ear & Scalp Reflexology is a dynamic way of working with the human body and three separate systems onto themselves.  This class will teach all three systems.  In hand reflexology specific color light therapy protocols for tip points and basic hand reflexology will be taught.  In Ear Reflexology or Auricular Therapy we will learn protocols that can help enhance overall health with a specialty focus to address PTSD & addiction.  Research has proven 5 little ear points can help alleviate many related symptoms to these two epidemics that we face today.  Finally, you'll learn scalp reflexology which will focus on brain function, sight, hearing, smell and senses that we lose during accidents such as traumatic brain injury or concussion.   This class helps students and practitioners facilitate deeper releases in their clients for a greater sense of well-being and peace.  Self-care is strongly emphasized  Pre-requisite:  None
​Additional Requirements – 98 hours
Through continuous practice, students gain familiarity and experience in practicing bodywork and other skills necessary to be an independent practitioner.

Specific Course Objective:  The objective of this module is to give students more confidence in practicing their skills through tutorials, one on one practice, case studies, and direct experience.  Pre-requisites:  Varies - students will be given a timeline of when to start.

Tutorials - 6 hours 
Tutorials are comprised of a question and answer format where students get their individual questions met that perhaps are not appropriate to bring up in a class setting.  Students are encouraged to identify where they are having difficulty and work directly on those issues during tutorial times.  Tutorials can be the difference between realizing that there is a difficulty and actually overcoming the dynamics that are creating it.

Practice Sessions - 70 hours
Students are required to give 70 sessions to the general public or other students.  Students are not allowed to charge money for these services or infer that they are a practitioner.  Forms will be provided.

Case Studies - 20 hours
Students are required to work with two clients at 10 sessions per client and follow a case study format.  Forms will be provided.
​Evaluation/Examination  (8 hours)

 2 Evaluation Sessions – 4 hrs
Evaluation sessions are incredible learning devices in order to give constructive criticism to students on their strengths and weaknesses.   Areas which need to be addressed during the evaluation session must be improved on second evaluation session or an additional evaluation session will be required.  Additional evaluation sessions are at the student’s expense.  Fees range from $20.00 - $60.00 per hour.

 1 Testing Session – 2 hrs
Testing sessions will be graded by the instructors overseeing testing sessions.  Testing sessions must be completed by the end of the certification program.  Also, student weaknesses that are identified on the first testing session must be improved on the final testing session in order to have a passing grade.  

 Final Examination – 2 hours
Students will be tested by both verbal and written examination.  A final hands-on practicum will also be given during the final testing weekend.  Students’ weaknesses that are identified in the 3 initial evaluation & testing sessions and must be improved upon in the final practicum in order to pass.  A student receiving a non-passing grade will be given instruction on what they need to improve and will be able to take the practicum over a second time.    

Pre-requisite:  All Coursework Completed.
