Light Therapy is a newly developing field in the United States. Although new to the United States, light therapy is actually not a new field of practice. It has been researched in Germany for decades, practiced in the United States since the 70's and practiced in other cultures for centuries. Light Therapy uses the frequency of light to stimulate the bodies energetic systems in order to heal and promote wellness. It is based on the Chinese Acupressure and Japanese Meridian System. In beginning classes student learn basic protocols which directly effects the psycho-spiritual and physiological imbalances of the body. In Advanced Classes within the Basic Light Therapy Certification, students graduate from protocols to understanding, identifying and learning how to work with root cause. The United States FDA has recently approved Laser & Light Therapy for the relief of pain showing efficacy based on secondary research.
Students will also learn how to use light, vaccaria seeds (ear seeds), beads & probes in the Auricular Reflexology portion of this training and how to apply light to Spine Reflexology.
